Squid in Italy - from 2025
Founded in the United States by Portable Therapeutix, LLC in 2013, SQUID was designed as a drug-free solution for pain. (Developed in Boston, early versions of SQUID were field-tested and refined with the collaboration of Harvard University sports teams.)
The portable device was designed for a 15-minute therapy session, using special proprietary gel packs and sequential compression technology: wraps with special air chambers that inflate and deflate according to the chosen compression level, allowing cold to penetrate deep into muscles and ligaments, reducing swelling and promoting venous return.
SQUID GO arrives in Italy through Effequadromed, a leading company in the medical sector for years.
The network of contacts with the sports world and medical professionals in the sector will make the product a gold standard for portable cryotherapy.
